As SHE Is Me Mentoring celebrates ten years of impact, we reflect on the countless moments where young ladies began to see themselves differently. What once felt uncertain became something they could name, pursue, and believe was possible for their future.

Since the beginning, SHE Is Me has been committed to creating space for young ladies and gender expansive youth to grow academically, personally, and professionally through mentorship, experiential learning, and intentional community. Over the years, we have had the privilege of walking alongside students as they develop confidence, leadership skills, and pathways toward the futures they envision for themselves.

Now, as we look ahead, we remain focused on deepening our impact, expanding our reach, and continuing to create opportunities that prepare our students to step boldly into what comes next.

Coastal Carolina University’s Women of Color organization is proud to have partnered with SHE Is Me Mentoring Program through mentorship focused programming.

This partnership reflects the power of intergenerational mentorship. Through this connection, professionals are able to mentor college students, college students are encouraged to mentor high school students, and high school students are inspired to support and lead younger students in their communities. SHE Is Me helps bring that vision to life by creating a meaningful bridge between generations of young women who are learning, growing, and leading together.

The connection between Women of Color and SHE Is Me reminds us that mentorship is not limited to one season of life. It is an ongoing cycle of support, representation, accountability, and care that strengthens both the mentor and the mentee.
