Having both of my daughters in SHE Is Me was a heaven-send. They had the opportunity to experience things they never would have and I am forever grateful for the program. One has finished college and is headed to graduate school and the other is in her 2nd year of college. SHE Is Me helped to shape them into amazing young women and Tab still serves as a resource for our family.
I was in SHE Is Me from 8th grade until I graduated high school and though I did not go directly to college I am grateful for my time in SHE Is Me. Several skills I learned in the program help me today as I navigate “adulting”. Tab’s standard of excellence seemed extra but I am beginning to understand why she was so hard on us, she loves her students and wants the best for them, no matter what!
Tab is different! She is stern yet loving and pours her heart into every person she encounters. Being in SHE Is Me during my last two years of high school changed my entire life and I wouldn’t be where I am without the program.
Sisters I never knew I needed. As an only child like Ms. Tab, I am used to being by myself. SHE Is Me has helped me gain sisters and friends I hope to have forever. I’m excited to see what the future holds for us!
My daughter was headed down the wrong path and I had no clue what to do. She met Tabitha at an event and asked me if she could be in her program. At the time, I did not think it would work as she wasn’t the easiest person to work with but somehow they made a connection. She met girls from other schools and was exposed to way more than her normal environment. I still say that had she not enrolled in the program, I am not sure if she would have finished high school and continued her education. SHE Is Me is special.
