Making a Difference Through Essential Care

The SHE Is Me Mentoring Program is proud to announce our 2025 Annual Hygiene Project taking place throughout the month of May. This initiative focuses on collecting personal and travel-sized hygiene items including soap, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, hand sanitizers, and feminine hygiene products. These essential items, though small, make a significant impact in the lives of those facing challenges in accessing basic hygiene supplies. Did You Know? Period Poverty Week (May 12th - 18th) highlights that nearly 1 in 4 students in the United States struggles to afford menstrual products. This lack of access can lead to missed school days, decreased participation in activities, and negative health outcomes. By donating feminine hygiene products to our 2025 Hygiene Project, you're helping break this cycle
Supporting Our Community

This year, we're specifically focusing on providing feminine hygiene kits to victims of maltreatment. Your contributions during May 2025 will help ensure these vulnerable community members have access to hygiene essentials that promote dignity and wellbeing. Receiving organizations are Care House of the Pee Dee in Florence, SC and Fresh Brewed in Myrtle Beach, SC.
How You Can Help?

We invite our community partners to join this meaningful effort in several ways:
-
Donate personal/travel-size hygiene items
-
Share information about our hygiene drive on social media
-
Spread the word at your school, workplace, or church
-
Host a collection box at your location
-
Make a financial contribution to support the purchase of additional supplies
Your support in any capacity will create a lasting impact for those in need within our community.
